We must Hear how our sin separates us from God (Romans 6:23),
The Good News (the gospel of God’s grace (1 Corinthians 15:14),
God’s love in sending His Son to die in our place (Ephesians 1:7).
Then, having an obedient faith in God’s promises, we must Believe in Jesus (John 8:24)
Repent and turn away from sin (Luke 13:3-5)
Confess His name before men (Matthew 10:32-33)
We must be buried with Christ in Baptism for the purpose of having our sins forgiven
(Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38-41).
We arise from the waters of baptism, receiving the gift of God’s Spirit (Acts 2:38), and being
added by the Lord to His church (Acts 2:47)
We then walk in a new life (Romans 6:1-7), loving God and our neighbor (1 John 5:1-3),
and remaining faithful until death (Revelation 2:10).
